Remodel The Kitchen
This year we decided to buy our own Christmas gifts. We don’t often buy gifts for each other so it was fun picking out something for ourselves. It just so happened his {a fancy espresso machine} arrived early and is having a little too much fun with it.
Everyday I’m treated to steamed milk for my tea and morning and afternoon hot chocolates.
He even whips up Lucy little puppuccinos complete with a side of biscuits.
However, his latte art could use a little work. He said this one reminded him of Edvard Munch’s The Scream. I just rolled my eyes.
Sell Enough Rugs to Buy an AGA Stove DONE!!!
I hit my goal of selling enough of my 2022 hooked rugs and pillows in my Etsy shop to pay for my new Duck Egg Blue AGA cooker. But since the stove was damaged… We have to wait until the end of May 2023 for the new one to arrive.

I’ve decided to move this goal to 2023.
I just didn’t have enough time to devote to this goal this year. I had planned on making a few spinner gourd garlands this year for fall, but there is just too much other stuff going on right now to make it a priority.

Be More Intentional With My Time
Last night we went bowling and played video games and air hockey until we ran out of quarters and had a blast.
Keep My Husband Busy
The only thing he did this past week was play with his new machine.

My House Projects For This Year {so far}
Well, clearly I won’t be doing any more painting outside this year as it’s too cold and the paint probably won’t adhere that well to the house anyway.
Oh well. There’s still a little touch up work to do inside but besides that, I’m pretty much done with house projects for the year. And you know what, it feels nice.
Things I need to get done this year:
- Finish painting the outside of the house
Finish painting the inside of the house- Make something to hang above our new console table

Visit 12 Towns in Maine That I Haven’t Been to Before
This past week I went to Skowhegan, Maine for the first time to check out Maine Grains and also visited Johnny’s seed company in Winslow, Maine. We also attended the Garden’s Aglow light festival in Boothbay, Maine so it was a busy week.
I love Maine, and I especially love visiting all the different small towns, especially this time of year when they’re all decked out for Christmas and the downtowns are bustling with people.
So far we’ve visited:
- Brunswick
- Alna, Maine
- Boothbay Harbor
- Washington General Store
- Hope General Store
- Rockland, Maine
- Bath, Maine
- Skowhegan, Maine
How about YOU? How did you do with working towards your goals for 2022?
