Good morning friends! How was your weekend? It felt different, right? It continues to be a crazy time, and I’m just taking it one day at a time, trying to stay safe, do my part to help, and not obsess.
If you missed my Weekend Newsletter, I wanted to repeat my sentiments here. I was reading about a few small ways we can work together to help during this time because we often feel so helpless.
WAYS TO HELP WITH COVID-19
1. Help people in your neighborhood by checking on the eldery or homebound. Even just asking friends or neighbors how you can help can make a big difference. There might be something so small (but huge to them), you can do. I’ve offered to watch my neighbors’ kids’ while I’m home and she was overwhelmed with gratitude.
2. Donate money to the hungry or sick. Food banks often prefer money so they can stock up on exactly what they need.
Local Food Bank
Meals on Wheels
Save the Children
3. Support small business. Many are being hit hard right now and your support could help them mitigate losses. You can buy gift certificates now to use later. I ‘favored’ two meals this weekend.
4. Donate blood
The Red Cross
5. Be responsible
TAKE CARE OF YOU
And if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious about everything, take care of YOU! (love and miss you Grandma Nola)
1. Get enough sleep – we all feel worse when we’re running on fumes.
2. Move your body – even if it’s just a walk.
3. Talk to a trusted friend or family member.
4. Stay informed, but don’t obsess. This one is hard, but sometimes you just need to turn off the tv and stop googling!
5. If you’re stuck inside, do some Spring Cleaning or decluttering. It’s good for the soul.
I truly believe we will all be okay and this will pass just as quickly as it came. I hope my blog and Stories can add some light into your day!

MARCH LOVES
Today, it’s time for March Loves with a little surprise for you! As a THANK YOU for reading and subscribing to my blog, I’m giving away EVERYTHING in my March Loves to one of my subscribers. If you’re not subscribed, you can sign up here, and I will pick a winner at random and announce at the end of the month!
Congratulations to the previous Loves Winners!
December Loves Deborah in South Carolina
January Loves Felicia in Alabama
February Loves Emily in Illinois
If you’re new to Loves, it’s where I share things I’m loving each month, with the aim to highlight fabulous things I swear by, some things I want to try, great deals, and under $50 finds! All perfectly appropriate for the flavor of each month! I love sourcing goodies and sharing them with you!
Romper Coverup • Nail Polish • Bunny Wreath • Air Pods • Stud Sandals • Jumpsuit • Beaded Bracelet • Sleep Bras
Romper Coverup
I adore this cover up – a shorts romper with a criss cross top. The top has a center snap to keep it from gaping open. The material is nice and lightweight and you could easily roll this up and throw it into your beach or pool bag and be good to go!
The shorts are short, but the longer sleeves still help you feel covered.
Cover Up Fit : I’m wearing XS
Nail Polish
Before all the craziness, I got a mani/pedi and chose this bright white for Spring. It looks so fresh and clean on your nails!
Beaded Bracelet
Aren’t those beaded bracelets gorgeous?! They immediately caught my eye online and then I read further that they are handcrafted by African artisans from marbled cobalt glass and clementine-colored bone beads. Akola manufactures 100 percent of its jewelry through its nonprofit manufacturing partner, Akola Project, which employs nearly 200 women in extreme poverty in Eastern Africa, providing living wages and access to critical and holistic support services.
So, not only is the jewelry stunning, your purchase helps support these women.
Bunny Wreath
Y’all went crazy for the boxwood bunny wreath in last week’s blog post! It’s seriously so cute in person – better than the online photo. You can hang him on your front door, or with a suction cup hook on a mirror inside.
Air Pods + Charging Case
I honestly cannot believe I haven’t put Air Pods on my Loves list yet! These are something I wear every single day – whether it be for working out, talking on the phone while walking around, or listening to a podcast while cleaning.
It’s so convenient to be able to pop these little earbuds into your ear and be cord free! You charge them by putting them in the charging case, but you occasionally have to charge the case. When you open the lid to the charging case, your phone will alert you to how much battery you have left.
One size fits all! If you don’t have them already, you will LOVE them!
Stud Sandals
These are so darling and actually quite comfortable! They are sturdier than I thought and definitely super cute! Bonus, you can get them wet without hurting them, so perfect for the pool.
Sandals Fit : They only come in whole sizes and run slightly big. I ordered by true size, 6, and they are a little long, so I’m going to try the 5.
Jumpsuit
I remembered how much I loved this jumpsuit in the black, and when it popped up again, I definitely wanted to grab the grey. This jumpsuit is so comfortable, I love to wear it to carpool, running errands or just hanging out at home. The material is really soft and stretchy, with a bit more weight to it so it feels nice and substantial.
Jumpsuit Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Sleep/Lounge Bras
These sports bras just arrived last week and already made it to my Loves! They’re called low impact sports bras on the website, but I prefer them for wearing when you want some support, but don’t feel like wearing a regular bra. They are AWESOME for that! They simply pull on over your head with a soft, wide underband and racerback back. You can also remove the padded cups if you prefer.
And if you’re the type that likes a “sleeping bra,” I think these will be your best friend. I’ve been wearing mine all weekend!
Fit : I’m a 34D and the Medium fit perfectly
I can’t wait to see who wins this month! Thank you so much for choosing to spend part of your busy day here with me. I hope I sprinkle a little bit of joy and positivity into your life!
Now go kick Monday’s booty!
