I’ve had this tent for 8 years. We go on an annual camping trip for a week with other families and usually experience 2-3 days of rain. Several of the others have REI tents. Which always end up wet inside. (So now they set up tarps over them). This tent has NEVER leaked. The only time anything was ever wet, was when a sleeping bag it was pushed up against the side, and the water seeped in that way from touching it. A family of four with air mattresses (2 twins and a queen or 4 twins) can fit comfortably with space for luggage as well. There is a hook on top for hanging a tent light, and two hanging storage pockets (to hold your water bottles and flashlights for easy reach). The unique door flap is great. My only complaint is that it takes longer to set up than the dome-style tents and only works if you stake it. It’s not suitable for places where you can’t stake it into the ground.
